FAQs

What is Crusader Giving Day?

Crusader Giving Day is an annual fundraising campaign for Bergen Catholic High School. This 24-hour Day of Giving is our biggest fundraiser of the year and an exciting way for our community to support the school we love.

Where does my Crusader Giving Day gift go?

Crusader Giving Day gifts go to the Crusader Fund and are made immediately available where they are most urgently needed to keep our school operating at its fullest potential. The Crusader Fund supports every aspect of creating a world-class student experience for our young men – academics, clubs and activities, teachers, technology, financial aid, and more. Your annual or recurring, unrestricted gift to the Crusader Fund exemplifies a shared dedication to the student experience and helps to make every day at Bergen Catholic EXTRAORDINARY.

Who can participate?

Alumni, students, current and alumni parents, grandparents, faculty, staff, and friends of Bergen Catholic are all encouraged to support Crusader Giving Day! Please choose the affiliation that best represents your connection to the BC community on the giving form. Together, we impact the next generation of leaders!

Is there a minimum or maximum donation limit?

No - every gift counts! We are grateful for each donation and ask that you participate at a level that is comfortable for you and will have the greatest impact on current and future Crusaders.

If you have already made a gift to the Crusader Fund this year, thank you for helping us get this far! If you are able, we encourage you to make an additional donation of any size on Crusader Giving Day to unlock matching gifts and show your support for The Brotherhood.

What is the best way to donate?

Online, credit card donations generate an immediate acknowledgement letter and appear on our Crusader Giving Day donor wall. If you would like to donate stock or an IRA distribution, or to discuss other legacy or estate giving, please contact Karen DiMaria, VP of Advancement, at kdimaria@bergencatholic.org or 201-634-4140. Other donation options are below.

Can I donate via Venmo?

Yes, you can! Please submit payment to @Advancement-Office on Venmo. In the “What’s it for” box, include your name, affiliation with the school (student, alumni, parent, etc.) and class year. We will send you a donation receipt at a later date.

*Your Venmo donation may not immediately show on the Donor Wall as these gifts are entered manually throughout the day.

Can I send a gift by mail or phone?

Yes - If you would like to make a gift by phone on May 3rd, please call the Advancement Office at 201-634-4142. If you would like to mail a check, please make the check payable to:
